Recommended: Test Before Your First Class

We strongly recommend visiting your assigned classroom before the term starts to:

  1. Power on the system, projector, and TV
  2. Sign in
  3. Familiarize yourself with the displays
  4. Test audio with YouTube or other media
  5. Open any software you plan to use (Teams, PowerPoint, Moodle, etc.)
  6. Power everything off

This prevents first-day technical issues and ensures a smoother experience for you and your students.

  • Sign into Teams and launch a meeting
  • Practice sharing screens for PowerPoint, Word, and a web browser
  • Test speakers and microphones
