Editing your departmental voicemail is similar to editing your personal voicemail:
- Open your teams client and navigate to settings using the ... in the upper right of Teams.
- Under settings select Calls.
- In the top menu select the Call Queue (departmental queue) you would like to change the settings for.
- You can either use the text to speech options or record an audio file for your voicemail / call overflow message.
- For TEXT to speech option:
Please click on "Edit custom greeting" which will populate a text box for you to enter your desired message for the call queue. (See Image below)

- For Audio File option:
Please use the drop down menu to select "Play an audio file" ----> Upload audio file
(NOTE: Audio file has to be in MP3,WAV and WMA format)
- The Sound Recorder application installed on your laptop or a similar software can record this audio file.
-To ensure that Sound recorder is saving file in MP3 format, please refer the steps below:
a. Under Sound recorder, click on three dots (•••) and then click on settings. (See image below)
b. Select "Recording Audio Format" ----> Choose MP3 as option to record audio files.
Now you can record your audio file which will be saved as MP3 and upload it on teams settings for VoiceMail or Call Overflow message as mentioned above!
