There is a computer attached to this TV that all students can use for collaboration purposes. To use, turn the TV on manually (the power button is marked).
Once the TV is on, keep in mind that the computer may be in “sleep mode”, so move the keyboard/mouse to “wake” it up. The computer power button is also labelled in case you need to power it on.
Once you are at the Cambrian login screen, use your student credentials (‘A’ number) to sign into the computer. Please sign out and turn off the TV when you are finished.
Things to keep in mind:
- You cannot connect your personal laptop to this TV. Please use your OneDrive account or a USB stick to edit documents. The computer has two USB ports at the front of the unit which you are welcome to use.
- There is no microphone or camera in this room; participation in meetings/classes is limited as a result
- You can print directly to the Library Printers from this computer
