Installing Creative Cloud

When a user puts in a request for Adobe Creative Cloud / Adobe Pro, they must have manager approval and a budget code.  Creative Cloud is the ONLY Adobe Pro we are licensed for. Do not install from the shares.

If you are interested in knowing who has a license installed, check the Software Installs in OneNote

Tier 2 /Jason will approve the installation, purchase the license (which generates an email to the user) and send it on to purchasing for invoicing.

Once the ticket is assigned to a technician, they will make contact with the user.

The user should still have the email from Creative Cloud, if they do not, they can sign onto the Adobe website. Staff will need to use their cambriancollege.ca email accounts in order for the license to be valid and part of our agreement with Adobe (this will also keep Sherry/purchasing happy)

You can access <\\nas-cluster\software$\Client Services\Adobe CC - 2024 Windows\Build> and run the setup file which will install CC, then install Acrobat Reader DC ( Adobe pro) from CC

This allows the user to update the software themselves

You *May* need to turn off auto-containment in Comodo

You WILL have to ensure all Office 365 applications are closed (especially outlook)

The installation can take anywhere from 30 to 45 mins.

It is best to run Adobe updates and restart the machine after the installation.
