The symptom in Banner 9 Application Navigator (also known as AppNav) is a message indicating the following:
Service Invocation Failed
Couldn't access remote service.
With Firefox 102.0, the settings for Enhanced Tracking Protection may be set to Standard or Strict, which could isolate cross-site cookies causing issues using Banner 9 Application Navigator. Because AppNav is not configured to address cookies properly in our environment, this setting in Firefox may be required as a temporary work around.
- Verify Firefox is on version 102.0. In Firefox, Open Application Menu
> Help > About Firefox. If on version 102.0, proceed.

- In the address bar, go to about:preferences#privacy. (Alternatively, Open Application Menu > Settings > Privacy & Security).
- Change the Enhanced Tracking Protection setting to Custom.
- In the drop down menu for cookies, select Cross-site tracking cookies.

- After making the change Firefox may indicate that you will need to Reload All Tabs, please do this.

- Attempt to use AppNav again, the Service Invocation Failed error should go away.
- If it doesn't go away, uninstalling and reinstalling Firefox may be required.
