To sign into the AppsAnywhere portal, you must use your student number and student email password. If you haven't signed in to your student email before please do so before trying to log into the AppsAnywhere portal.
The information to log into your student email can be found under the student tab in myCambrian under the box labelled Cambrian IT Support.

If you already have a version of AutoCAD installed, you must completely remove the suite. This link contains the information to uninstall it:

Faculty and students can access AutoCAD software through our AppsAnywhere portal. Please follow the below steps to access:
1.) Navigate to the portal: https://appsanywhere.cambriancollege.ca/
You'll need to sign in with your Cambrian College computer/email credentials:
Faculty: first initial, middle initial, last name along with your password
Students: 'A' number along with your password
2.) If this is your first time accessing AppsAnywhere, you'll need to install our Cloudpaging Player. This will automatically begin if you select the "It's my first time using" option. If you've already signed in and accessed an application on your system, you can select the "I've already used AppsAnywhere" option and skip to step 7.
3.) The download will automatically start. You can select the defaults for all options and complete the installation.
4.) Once the installation is done, you'll be brought to the AppsAnywhere application portal. You will see the list of all software that you have access to. You'll need to be validated once you reach this step. This is done through the software you just installed. You can select the "Open AppsAnywhere launcher" pop-up. There will also be a message at the bottom letting you know that it will take a moment to communicate with AppsAnywhere. You can check the "Don't show this again" box at the bottom right if you don't need this prompt again.
5.) During this process, the Cloudpaging Player will automatically open and complete the validation process. You will see this pop-up appear after a moment or two.
6.) Once the validation is done, you'll be able to navigate through the software titles in the portal. The easiest way to see the CAD applications is to change the 'Categories' to Autodesk 2020 Applications
7.) When you hover over an application, select "Launch". After clicking Launch, the Cloudpaging Player will access and virtualize the app for you. This may take a bit of time the first time as it gathers all of the information it needs. You can close the Cloudpaging Player at any time. It will run in the background and be available as an icon on the bottom right of your Windows Taskbar, but it's good to keep it open the first time to keep an eye on the progress. The more you continue to launch and use an application, the better performance will be. The app will eventually open on its own.
If you are using AppsAnywhere on a personal machine, and you have Norton Anti-Virus installed, you will have to turn off Heuristic virus protection and then, when you launch Autocad, it says that Virtualization is a Trojan Virus, you have to click on "details" and allow the program to run.
8.) After first accessing it from the website, you can then open the app from the Start Menu
10.) You now have access to a licensed version of the applications
