There are two computers in 1619. The one on the left is for recording purposes. The one on the right is for virtual delivery/Teams sessions.

Please see below for what can/needs to be adjusted on the mixer:

To record on the left computer, launch Audacity on the desktop. Click record when you're ready:

Both mics are live and the recording is ready to be started right away. If you are running the recording session, you need to hold the “TALKBACK” button to be able to speak to the users within the sound booth. That desktop microphone is muted by default.
Also, the sound drivers need to match what's below or it won't work:

Once the recording is done, right click the recording on the left, and select “Split Stereo to Mono”. This will separate the two microphone recordings.

You can see below, they now show up as two different tracks:

Click File -> “Export” Audio to save the file, which is now ready to be edited as required

For the right computer, when you launch Teams for virtual delivery, ensure that the following is selected (should be the default):

To turn on the lights in the booth itself, there is a small switch on the lightbars. Please turn the lights off when you are done.

You can simply just sit down, put the headphones on, and start using the mics in the booth. Again, they are live and ready to go. Please be mindful to only use the soundboard as explained above, thank you.
HAPPY RECORDING FOLKS!
