Getting Started
- You must be connected to the Cambrian network via a wired connection or Cambrian Wi-Fi (not Cambrian Guest).
- Follow the instructions below to set up printing. If you encounter any issues, contact the IT Service Desk by phone at 705-566-8101 x7370 or by logging a ticket.
Printing from a Windows Device
- Download and run the Mobility Print Printer Setup.
- On the License Agreement screen, click Next.
- Select a printer, then click Next.
- Enter your Username (e.g., firstname.lastname@cambriancollege.ca) and Password, then click Next.
- Click Finish.
- Send you print job to Secure-Print.
Printing from a macOS Device
Open System Preferences > Printers and Scanners.
- Click the + icon under the Printers List.
- The Add Printer dialog will appear, displaying available network printers.
- Select a printer. The Name, Location, and Use fields will populate automatically.
- Ensure Use is set to Secure AirPrint.
- If Secure AirPrint is not displayed:
- Close the Add Printer dialog.
- Disconnect and reconnect to the Cambrian network.
- Try again. If you still do not see Secure AirPrint, contact the IT Service Desk.
- Click Add.
- Print your document. When prompted, enter your Cambrian username and password.
Where to Pick Up Your Secure-Print Jobs
Secure-print enabled printers are available in the following rooms:
- 1271A
- 1714
- 1811
- 2166
- 2263
- 3130
- 3252
- 4071
Use your college email (or username) and password to sign into the printers to release your print job.
You can log a ticket to request a print card. The print card allows you to tap to release your print job at any secure-print enabled printer.
