Combining CRNs in eGrades

You can combine two or more CRNs for the same course within eGrades under the following conditions:

  1. Same Term: The CRNs must belong to the same academic term.
  2. Locked and Identical Gradebooks: The gradebooks for both CRNs must be locked and identical.

Steps to Combine CRNs

  1. Set Up and Lock the First CRN: Configure the gradebook for the first CRN and ensure it is locked.
  2. Copy the Gradebook to the Second CRN: Copy the settings from the first CRN to the second CRN.
  3. Lock the Second CRN Gradebook: After copying, lock the gradebook for the second CRN.
  4. Combine the CRNs in eGrades: Once both gradebooks are locked and identical, you can combine the CRNs.

Important Notes

Moodle Grade Display: In Moodle, grades do not display the CRN students are associated with. Instead, you’ll see their username (e.g., A#).
