This guide will show you step by step how to register for a sage 50 premium accounting 14 month license and how to install the software.
Registering for a License
Visit this website: https://www.sage.com/en-ca/about-us/education/#get-software
Scroll down to Step 1: Register
Click Register for sage 50 student version: as shown
Fill out the information asked in the pop up:
Click next
Fill out the information in the next section:
Once complete, click "Get in Touch"
Wait for the confirmation screen:
You will now need to wait up to a possble 24-48 Hours before you are emailed a license key. The email will look like this:
Save the Company name, Serial Number, and Key code; as we will need it later.
Installing Sage 50
Visit this website: https://www.sage.com/en-ca/about-us/education/#get-software
Scroll down to Step 2: Download the student software
Click the year that your professor has said you will be using.
A download will appear in the top right of your browser, wait for it to finish, then click it:
You will be prompted to run the installer, click yes
When the installer opens, click next:
Wait for the progress bar to finish, this will open a new window
Click Install Sage 50
Language page > English > OK
If you receive this warning, you can safely click YES
Agree to the terms and click next
Uncheck the below box for installing resources shortcut then click next
At the windows firewall screen, leave the default yes option and click next
At the type of installation screen leave the default and click next
At the serial number screen, enter the serial number that sage 50 emailed you from step 1 then click install
Wait for the progress bar to complete
When complete, click finish and the software will open automatically:
On the activation pop up, click Activate Now
Input the information provided to you in the email from step 1:
Then click OK and wait for Sage to launch.
