Placing a call using the CCX 500

  1. Lift the handset, press the speakerphone button, or select "Dial A Number". If you use a headset you can also press the headset button (above speakerphone).
  2. Dial the extension or number you would like to call. There is no escape character, the phone can tell the difference between a 4 digit extension (internal) and a 10+ digit phone number and will route your call appropriately. 
     
  3. When the call is completed hang up the headset or press the red hang up button.

Checking/Changing your Voicemail

  1. The quickest way to check is to dial your extension using the above method or x6009 from another phone. 
  2. You can also click the hamburger menu, and select Messages.
     

Using the Poly Blackwire headset with the CCX 500

  1. Plug the headset USB cable into the side of the CCX 500's USB port. If it is snug you will get a pop up on the phone that states "Digital headset attached"
  2. Press the headset button on the phone, it will glow blue when in use.
  3. Dial as normal.

Quick buttons

Use the mute button on the bottom right to mute your side of the call.

Use the + and - buttons to control the volume of the ringer, or the call volume when connected with someone.

Use the "Recent Calls" button to view previous calls and call back if needed. 

Use the "DND" button to prevent incoming calls and noise when required.
