Adding a Link to a Teams Meeting Your Course Shell

This article provides instructions on how to share a Teams meeting link with your students in Moodle.

Body

Copy the Teams Meeting Link

  1. Open Microsoft Teams and go to the meeting you want to share.
  2. Click Copy Link.

Add the Link as a URL in Moodle

  1. Navigate to the Moodle course shell where you want to post the link.

  3. Scroll to the section where you want the link to appear.

  6. Add a descriptive name for example: Click here to join the class on Teams.
  7. Paste the Teams meeting link into the External URL field. Screenshot of the URL settings page in Moodle
  8. Click Save and return to course.
  9. Check that the link appears correctly and is clickable.
