Navigate to your course in Moodle
- Open the Quiz
Locate the quiz to which you want to add questions. Click on the quiz name to open it.
- Select Questions from the Quiz Administration Menu
On the quiz page, click on Questions from the menu on the right-hand side of the screen.

- Click “Add”
On the right side of the quiz page, click the Add button. A dropdown menu will appear.

- Select from Where You Want to Add the Questions
- A new question allows you to create a question at the quiz level (you won’t be able to use this question in other assignments).
- From question bank allows you to use a question from a question bank.
- A random question allows you to select a set number of questions from a specified category, randomly chosen each time a student attempts the quiz, ensuring variation between attempts.
From a Question Bank

- Choose the Question Bank Category
A new window will open showing the available question bank categories. Use the dropdown menu at the top to select the correct category that contains the questions you need.
- Select Questions
Browse through the list of questions. Check the boxes next to the questions you want to add to the quiz.
- Add the Selected Questions
After selecting your questions, click the Add selected questions to the quiz button at the bottom of the window.
- Save Your Changes
Click the Save button at the bottom of the page to confirm your changes.
A Random Question

- Choose the Question Bank Category
A new window will open showing the available question bank categories. Use the dropdown menu at the top to select the correct category that contains the questions you need.
- Select the number of random questions

- Save and close.
