Moodle logs provide a detailed record of student activity within a course. To access the logs, follow the instructions below, or  watch a video demonstration here.

Accessing Moodle Course/Activity Logs

  1. Navigate to your Moodle course.
     
  2. Under the Administration menu click Reports, then Logs.

  1. Filter by student (participants), activity, and/or day to view a report of student activity.

  1. Review the logs. It will show the user (student) and events. You can note the time that students are completing these events, and the IP address they are signed into.
